Food! What is more basic then that. Every living being on the planet needs food.

We know that we get energy and nutrition from food. Many of us get some emotional comfort from certain kinds of food.

The question is, do we still realize that there are healing qualities to food? Many of us are aware the Hippocrates said "Let your food be your medicine and your medicine be your food". But I wonder if we think that was just for yesteryear's or do we understand that the food we eat plays a tremendous part in the over state of our health.
